Hyderabad: Team India head coach Ravi Shastri, who was targeted by the online trollers when pictures of him sleeping went viral on social media during India's Test match against South Africa in Ranchi, has hit back at the trolls saying that he doesn't care what people say.
Ravi Shastri, who retained his position as the head coach of the Indian cricket team in 2019, has been trolled on several instances in past as well. Few months back, during Team India's Australia tour Shastri was trolled as he was seen coming out of the team bus with a bottle of beer in hand.
When Sourav Ganguly became the new president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Shastri again became the centre of trolls.
When asked about the photo the veteran seemed least bothered about it and said," “Enjoy, Enjoy….I don’t care what people say. I don’t miss a single ball.”
Virat Kohli and co. thrashed South Africa 3-0 in the recently concluded Test series to remain number one in the ICC rankings and in the points table of World Test Championship.
India will next take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series starting from November 3.
