Mumbai: Visitors Kolkata Knight Riders in their do or die match against Mumbai Indians have been asked to bat first as the home team won the toss. If KKR manages to win the match then it will be the fourth and last team to qualify for the playoffs. While on the other hand, this is also an important match for Mumbai as they can finish in top 2 if they win today's match.
KKR has made one change as Prasidh Krishna comes in place of spinner Piyush Chawla, while MI has made two changes as Mitch McClenaghan comes in for Evin Lewis and Ishan Kishan for Birandar Sran.
After winning the toss Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma said, "The last few decisions we have made on this surface have been based on the opposition. Today we wanted to see a total on the board and then see how we go from there. It is important but at the moment we don't want to think about it. We are more focused on playing good cricket. Not worry about the table. It is the last league game, we want to focus on good cricket."
KKR captain Dinesh Karthik said," "Dinesh Karthik: Everybody is as calm as we can get. It is an important game for both teams and they will come firing. One change - Prasidh comes in place of Piyush. They have done a good job so far in the tournament. Obviously, both are quality players, so we expect them to deliver."
