Imam-ul-Haq becomes fastest to 6 ODI centuries

Bristol: Pakistan opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq became the fastest batsman to score six One Day International centuries in the match against Pakistan here on Tuesday. Imam scored 151 runs in 131 balls to take his side to a mammoth total of 358 in the second ODI of the series.

Imam reached to sixth career century in 27 innings breaking the previous record of another opening batsman Upul Tharanga who reached the milestone in 29 innings.

Imam's inning of 151 was studded with one maximum and 16 boundaries. He also became only the fifth Pakistani batsman to have scored 150 or more in an ODI inning.
