Inspector Senthil Murugan, the investigating officer in the case, told a Delhi based newspaper that the 57-year-old had not left any suicide note. Former India selectors body was moved to Government Royapettah Hospital on Thursday morning and is likely to undergo an autopsy on Friday.

"Chandrasekhar's wife told the police that she had knocked at the door of his room but there was no response. She then peeped through the window to find him hanging from the ceiling," Murugan said.
