Hyderabad: Pakistan's sports presenter Zainab Abbas on Saturday in an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat opened-up about her journey. Abbas also highlighted the difference between the Indian Premier League and Pakistan Super League.
The renowned sports presenter was also named in the list of 100 most influential people in Asia. Speaking about the same, Abbas said, "I was not expecting such prestigious honour. But I feel honoured to receive this award. It is always nice to get recognised for your work."
Speaking about her journey, the 32-year-old Zainab said, "I have done MSC. I also worked for a year in England with an engineering firm called Caterpillar. I was their HR Coordinator. However, soon I realized that I am not made for a corporate job. My work visa also expired in England and I wanted to do something in the field of beauty, I also did some courses for the same."
Zainab further said, "I auditioned for a Pakistan channel in 2014. They were looking for a new face and my audition went well. They hired me on a one month contract, but due to my work they extended my contract to one year."
Speaking about the difference between India and Pakistan's domestic league -- Indian Premier League and Pakistan Super League -- Zainab said, "IPL and PSL are completely different.
