New Delhi: Star Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal on Tuesday said her application for Danish visa was being processed and she is expecting to receive the same on time for her participation in next week's BWF Denmark Open World Tour Super 750 tournament.
The 2012 London Olympic bronze-medallist had tweeted on Monday that she was facing visa issues for her participation in the BWF Super 750 tournament. She had even sought the help of the External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in this regard.
The Denmark Open will be played at Odense from October 15 to 20.

I'm working on it & in touch with @NSaina. Problem has come up due to a new instruction by @DenmarkinIndia requiring personal presence of applicant at @VFSGlobal I believe that Articles 10.1 & 10.2 of #Schengen Visa Code must be read together @parupallik @callmearsh @arun_saina
