Mumbai: Each Miss Universe winner has been bringing their A-game since the pageant started in 1952. From their style statements to wearing their confidence while being a bundle of nerves within, the contenders go through various rounds before making it to the finale.

Miss Universe 1998, the 47th Miss Universe pageant, was held on May 12, 1998 at the Stan Sheriff Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. Defeating 80 contenders across the globe, Wendy Fitzwilliam of Trinidad and Tobago bagged the title and was crowned by Brook Lee of the United States at the end of the event.
