Mumbai: TV actor Samir Sharma, 44, was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling on Wednesday here. The actor allegedly died by suicide at his home in Neha CHS building of Malad West.
Samir, popular known for playing the role of Kuhu’s father in Yeh Rishety Hain Pyaar Ke, apparently hanged himself two days back. According to reports, his body was discovered by a watchman who was strolling at night when he saw a body hanging from the ceiling of the apartment.

The watchman then informed the building supervisor who reported the incident to the police. No suicide note was discovered by the police at the apartment.
Samir had also appeared in popular drams like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Jyoti, and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Du among others.
Ironically, in an Instagram post dated July 27 on his unverified account, Samir had shared poetry penned by him in which he spoke about "killed dreams" and leaving his "ashes in a stream." Have a look at the post below which Sharma had shared with his over six thousand followers on the platform.

The news of Samir's suicide comes as yet another shock to the film and television industry after the unnatural death of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, his former manager Disha Salian, TV actor Preksha Mehta and Manmeet Grewal in recent times.
