Hyderabad: Actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen flaunting his regal self in the upcoming web series Tandav. Besides him playing a meaty role in the political drama, the series will have another major attraction for his fans as many scenes of Saif have been shot at his ancestral property Pataudi Palace in Haryana.
The Chote Nawab will be seen playing a cut-throat politician Samar Pratap Singh in Ali Abbas Zafar's Tandav. While talking about shooting the series in Pataudi Palace, Khan told a webloid that he made an exception by allowing the makers to shoot inside his ancestral property.
"I think it is the palace that lends us the royal look. Anyone standing there would look royal,” begins Khan. “I don’t mind giving it for shoots sometimes because it remains unused 340 days of the year," said Saif.

Khan said he is more comfortable if the crew is filming around the exterior of the palace but made an exception for Tandav.
"These days, film crews have become responsible and look after the venues, but (the idea of a shoot being conducted there) still makes me nervous. Usually, I am more comfortable if they are filming around the exterior of the palace. But for Tandav, I made an exception (by shooting inside)," the 50-year-old actor said.
