Mumbai: A rape case has been registered against Bigg Boss 13 contestant and singer Shehnaz Gill's father Santhok Singh, reports suggest.
According to reports, Shehnaz's father allegedly raped a woman at gunpoint. Santok Singh aka Sukh Pradhan has been reportedly booked by the Punjab Police on rape charges.
A 40-year-old Jalandhar based lady has accused Shehnaaz's father of raping her in his car at gunpoint. Reportedly, the incident took place on May 14 (2020), but an FIR was lodged on Tuesday (May 19, 2020), after the victim filed a case.
As per the reports, ever since the case is registered, Santhok is absconding.

For unversed, Santhok had visited Shehnaz in the Bigg Boss house during her stint in the show. Gill senior had also shared his views in an exclusive chat with a leading daily about Shehnaz's growing closeness with Sidharth Shukla. He opened up on various aspects including Shehnaz's equations with Sidharth and Paras Chhabra, and also on the time when host Salman Khan rebuked his daughter.
The ardent followers of the show would also remember when Rashmi Desai said that your father looks very handsome, Shehbaaz, Shehnaz's brother interrupted her and said that don’t say like this and said, "Oye, aisa na bol, bohot tharki hai woh." Hearing this, including Salman, everyone broke into laughter.
Shehnaz too had called her father "tharki" when Desai, Sidharth and Sana were talking about her father, the Punjabi star also called the same for Singh.
