Washington: Erstwhile director Danny Boyle felt that Robert Pattinson is the suitable candidate for playing the role of James Bond in 'Bond 25'.
The sequel to the James Bond series, 'Bond 25' was purportedly directed by Danny Boyle. Boyle, who was roped in to direct the film on March 2018, left the project on April 8 same year.
In a recent interview with 'The Guardian', Boyle said, "It was so bizarre because I was sitting there thinking, oh my God, they should get him to be the next Bond."
Speaking on how he felt after watching Pattinson in the sci-fi 'High Life', he said that Robert should be the next Bond.
Currently, Daniel Craig is playing the lead in the film which is scheduled to release on April 8, 2020.

However, Boyle refrained from commenting on his exit from the next in the franchise.
But he later told: "I was with John and they didn't really like what we were doing and so it's far better to part company. What we were doing was good. But it was obviously not what they wanted."
On the other hand, Pattinson has been roped in to play the lead as Batman for the Warner Bros. production 'The Batman'.
Meanwhile, Pattinson will also be seen with John David Washington in Christopher Nolan's latest film, "Tenet," releasing July 17, 2020.
