Robbie, DiCaprio, Pitt emotional leaving 'Once Upon...' Cannes premiere

New York: Some of the biggest stars in the world looked emotional leaving the Cannes premiere of 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'.

Brad Pit, Leonardo DiCaprio, Quentin Tarantino, Margot Robbie, Daniela Pick, David Heyman, and Shannon McIntosh arrived to attend the screening of 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.

Robbie hugged DiCaprio at the top of the famous steps – they were joined by Pitt and Tarantino at the screening of their movie, which is showing in competition in Cannes.

The recently launched trailer of the film opens with introducing Al Pacino's Marvin Shwarz followed by a scene of Leonardo DiCaprio's character torching Nazis in a movie. From there, we see DiCaprio's Rick Dalton during his fall from grace of Hollywood royalty.

Explaining the plot of the film, Tarantino told a leading tabloid that his film is "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood."

Robbie features as the late Hollywood actor Sharon Tate who, in real life, was murdered in August 1969 by followers of Charles Manson.

The multi starrer film also features Dakota Fanning, Timothy Olyphant, Emile Hirsch, Damian Lewis, Michael Madsen, Lena Dunham, and Kurt Russell. It is produced by Shannon McIntosh and David Heyman.

'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' hits the theatres on July 26, this year.
