Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan shared a collage of throwback photographs with the late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan on social media and wrote why losing a younger celebrity is more painful when compared.
Big B who has worked with both, Rishi and Irrfan, in his recent Instagram post talked about losing two of his greatest co-stars.
"The death of an elder celebrity vs death of a younger .. the grief of the latter more intense than that of the former .. why ..? The younger more tragic. Why the loss of the young seems more tragic than that of the older .. Because you lament the loss of opportunity in the latter .. unrealised possibilities," wrote Big B.
Bachchan had penned a heartfelt note about his friend Rishi, who passed away on Thursday, and said that he never visited the late veteran star in the hospital as he never wanted to see the distress on Kapoor's smiling cherubic face.
