Hyderabad: Actor Kunal Kemmu went down memory lane to recall how his wife Soha Ali Khan was scared after watching his performance in Mohit Suri directorial Malang. The film was released last year on this day.

Talking about what made him agree to take up the role of villainous Michael Rodriguez in the film, Kunal told a leading daily, "The role itself. I loved Michael Rodriguez the moment Mohit told me about the film and the character. And once I read the script, I was sure I wanted to do it. Also, it was Mohit directing so that was just a cherry on the cake."

Revealing an interesting anecdote attached to the film's screening, Kunal said, "I remember Soha telling me that she was scared to return home with me post the screening."

Kunal, who started out as a child artiste in films like Hum Hain Raahi Pyar Ke and Zakhm, made his debut as a Bollywood hero in the 2005 release, Kalyug. The 2007 film Traffic Signal was his second release as a grown-up actor. Kunal was last seen in the comic heist thriller, Lootcase, last year.
