Hyderabad: Actor Vaani Kapoor attended the trailer launch event of her upcoming film Bell Bottom co-starring Akshay Kumar in her hometown New Delhi on Tuesday. While the entire team of Bell Bottom was in the national capital, Vaani's father, who is apparently a fan of Akshay did not miss the chance to meet the superstar in person.
Vaani has shared an adorable image of her father Shiv Kapoor with Akshay. Sharing the image, Vaani wrote, "Moments like these make memories for life..his heart is full ❤️ #papa’sfanmoment @akshaykumar sir you're a true gem 🥰." As seen in the image, Vaani's entrepreneur father is more than happy hugging the 53-year-old actor who also wrapped his around Sr Kapoor.

At the trailer launch, Kapoor, who portrays the wife of Kumar's character, said she was thrilled to get to shoot a movie during the pandemic. "My heart is full of gratitude. During the pandemic where so many people, including us, were not able to get out of our homes, I was lucky that I got to work. I'm grateful that he worked with me," she said.

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bell Bottom is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. The movie will be released in theatres on August 19.
