Hyderabad: Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal has more hits than misses in his career spanning a little less than a decade. The actor has garnered the love of fans and critics alike but there is someone in his life whose opinion regarding his work means the world to the National Award-winning actor. And, it is not his rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
Vicky is basking in the rave reviews of his latest release Sardar Udham directed by Shoojit Sircar. While promoting the film, the actor was asked if he has a set of people around him who could show him the mirror. To which Vicky replied that he has a friend named Shilpa Srivastav whom he knows since the beginning of his career as assistant director on Gangs of Wasseypur. The actor said that he has to show all his films to Shilpa as she is his "harshest critic."

The actor further said, "It's very important to have one such friend." The actor also said that he is very close to his Love Per Square Foot director Anand Tiwari, producer Amritpal Singh Bindra and co-star Angira Dhar. Vicky said that the team of Love Per Square Foot is like family to him. The actor mentioned Masaan director Neeraj Ghaywan's name as his honest critic who will never mince words when it comes to reviewing Vicky's work.
Meanwhile, Vicky has recently shot for an episode of the adventure show Into The Wild With Bear Grylls in the Maldives. On the big screen, he will be next seen in Shashank Khaitan's Mr Lele and Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur.
