Mumbai: A progressive mindset, no doubt. That's what Ayushmann's eight-year-old son Virajveer possesses and mom Tahira could not be more proud of her son.
Since she never had an issue seeing her husband playing a gay man on-screen, she thought of asking her son Virajveer if he was okay with the same.
On Monday, Tahira got emotional as she penned a note on Twitter explaining how her eight-year-old kid accepted homosexuality with open arms.
She tweeted: "With the upcoming film the dad is doing, I wanted to be forthcoming with my 8-year-old son."

With the upcoming film the dad is doing, I wanted to be forthcoming with my 8 year old son. I asked him if he knows what homosexuality means or being gay means. He knew it. I asked him if he was ok with it. He replied...what’s there not be ok about. (Teary eyed and proud)

Speaking about children accepting the matter as it is, a social media user wrote: "Children today are more progressive in their thoughts. Be it homosexuality, divorce, remarriage, loss in a family... they are the strongest pillar to understand it all and accept. It's we who have so many doubts & think a lot about their comfort and mental state..#UpbringingMatters."
Applauding Ayushmann and Tahira's good parenting, another wrote: "Parenting done right, you two."
Meanwhile, Ayushmann's forthcoming flick Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan which is themed on homosexuality is set to hit the theatres on February 21, 2020.
Bankrolled by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions, the romantic comedy-drama also features his Badhai Ho co-stars Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta alongside Jitendra Kumar, in lead roles.
