Saharsa: As late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on Friday, his cousin Neeraj Kumar Singh alias Bablu and his family watched the film and urged people to lap up the film as a tribute to the actor.

Neeraj, who is the eldest among five cousin brothers of Sushant, watched Dil Bechara along with his LJP MLC wife Nutan Singh and both sons at their home.

After watching the film, Neeraj Kumar Bablu said: "Sushant's every film has an underlying message and Dil Bechara is no different. I would like everybody to see this film. We wanted the film to get a theatrical release but due to the COVID-19 crisis, it headed for digital release. However, this film will get a lot of love from the fans of Sushant."

Not only family but several Bollywood celebrities including Riteish Deshmukh, Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar and Amit Sadh also paid tribute to the departed actor by watching it first day.

Besides the celebrities, fans of the departed actor too have been creating a buzz on Twitter since Friday morning.

Dil Bechara is based on the 2014 Hollywood hit, The Fault In Our Stars, which was adapted from novelist John Green's 2012 bestseller of the same name.

The film marks casting director Mukesh Chhabra's debut as director. It also features Saswata Chatterjee, Sahil Vaid, Swastika Mukherjee, Milind Gunaji and Saif Ali Khan.
