Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Saturday questioned casting director Shanoo Sharma in the alleged suicide case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The interrogation session of the casting director of Yash Raj Films (YRF) took place at Bandra Police Station.
Earlier, police have recorded the statements of 23 people in connection with the case including his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, his father and sisters, his close friends, domestic help and other staff, besides director Mukesh Chhabra who was helming Sushant's upcoming film Dil Bechara, among others.
Even as the police investigates Sushant's death, Bollywood actor Shekhar Suman has created a forum called #justiceforSushantforum demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the death. On Twitter, the hashtag #CBIEnquiryForSushant has been viral for over a week now.
Meanwhile, the Sushant's detailed post-mortem report has also confirmed that he died by "asphyxia due to hanging."
The final report quoted: "No signs of any struggle before death, nothing found from his nails."

The report was analysed by a team of five doctors. Police are now awaiting the viscera report.
In other news, the deceased actor had worked in two Yash Raj Films production - Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) directed by Maneesh Sharma and in director Dibakar Banerjee directed Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015).
His third film under the banner was supposed to be Paani, directed by Shekhar Kapur. However, YRF had reportedly backed out of the project.
