Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer Vikas Singh revealed that the late actor had no life insurance policy.
"There are suggestions being given in the media that Sushant had a life insurance policy and the family will not get the money if it was declared that he died by suicide. And it is for this motive, it is being alleged that the suicide theory was later changed to abetment of suicide. I must inform all of you that Sushant had no life insurance policy," he said.

The advocate further said that no film/serial/book on Sushant's life should be made or written without the approval of the Raabta actor's father. The senior advocate, while addressing the media, requested everyone to not 'increase the suffering of a bereaved family'.
He further added, "I also want to inform everyone that the actor's father and sisters have taken a conscious decision that no film, serial, book, should be written without consent of father, or without the script being shown to the father. Inspite of this, if anyone feels he can go ahead and so something contrary to what I just informed, he/she will do that at his own peril and appropriate action will be taken to ensure that the effort is legally thwarted."
The Kedarnath starrer was found dead at his Bandra flat on June 14.
