Biggies with Dubai link seeking cover-up: Swamy requests PM for CBI probe in Sushant case

Former Cabinet Minister Subramanian Swamy wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting a CBI investigation in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Swamy also said that heavyweights in Bollywood with links to don in Dubai are 'seeking to ensure a cover-up' in late actor's apparent suicide.

Mumbai: BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has shown interest in the investigation into late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death is known. While Mumbai Police is investigating various angles including professional rivalry, Swamy penned a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi pressing for a CBI inquiry into the actor's apparent suicide case.

Dr Subramanian Swamy has written a letter to the Prime Minister pressing for a CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, who is the lawyer appointed to look into the matter took to his Twitter to share the pictures of the letter.

Swamy’s letter read, "You are well aware, I am sure, of the untimely death of film actor MR Sushant Singh Rajput. My associate in law, Mr. Ishkaran Bhandari has done research on the circumstances of his alleged suicide that he is said to have committed.

Although the police is still investigating the circumstances after registering an FIR, I learn from my sources in Mumbai that many big names in the Bollywood film world with links to don in Dubai are seeking to ensure a cover-up is carried out by the police so that voluntarily suicide is conducted as the reason for the demise of Mr Rajput."

Earlier, Swamy has also questioned the alleged silence of the three Khans of Bollywood over the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. He also demanded multi-agency probe into the assets of the three superstars whom he referred to as 'Khan Musketeers'.

Though he did not name anyone, just a day before he had called Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan as the "three musketeers" of Bollywood, questioning their alleged silence on what he calls "so-called suicide" of Sushant.
