His tweet comes moments after Rhea appealed to the home ministry to hand over the case to CBI.
In a post that she shared on Instagram, the Jalebi star wrote: "Respected @amitshahofficial sir, I’m Sushant Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise. I have complete faith in the government, however in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely Rhea Chakraborty #satyamevajayate."

Shekhar, who is promised to bring justice to the late actor, said he was convinced that it is a "homicide" and "not suicide."
"It's our conviction 'Homicide not Suicide'. Hasten up the process for #CBIEnquiryForSushant before it's too late. The voices will not slow down till he gets justice. We shall go on fighting for what we think is right and what we know is our right," he tweeted.

On Wednesday, Shekhar had tweeted that Sushant’s family remained "completely silent" on the CBI probe and he wished to back off as it was their prerogative. However, Shekhar reconsidered his decision and said that he could not "let down the emotions of so many people."
"But I will be there behind all of you as a silent force. You have to just summon me and i will be there. I will be the happiest wen Sushant gets justice,” he wrote on Twitter.
On June 14, the super talented Sushant Singh Rajput left for the heavenly abode. In connection to his death case, Mumbai Police have recorded the statements of over 30 people including his family, close associates and bigwigs from the industry.
