Mumbai: Veteran actor Shabana Azmi is under self-quarantine after returning from Budapest amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Shabana, who came back from March 15 from Budapest, took to Twitter to announce that she is in isolation following her trip.
"I have returned from Budapest on 15th March morn and am practising self isolation till March 30," she wrote.

The coronavirus outbreak so far has claimed over 10,000 lives globally and affected over 2.5 lakh people.
As the fear of coronavirus sweeps the globe, scores of celebrities from Bollywood including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan have decided to quarantine themselves in order to lower the risk of being affected by the pandemic.
While some are making their self-quarantine period productive, others are enjoying their leisure time back at home.

In other news, one of the prominent Bollywood playback singer Kanika Kapoor has been tested for the novel coronavirus. She is recently admitted to the isolation ward of King George's Medical University in Lucknow.
She is the first Bollywood celebrity to fall prey to the COVID-19. In a video that has surfaced the internet, the singer is seen departing for the hospital with all her belongings. The 41-year-old singer was in London for some time and returned to Lucknow on March 15, 2020.
