RRR release date confirmed - see new poster inside

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli's ambitious film RRR has got a release date. The makers have decided to release the hotly anticipated drama on October 13 this year. Along with the big news, a new poster featuring the leading men of the film has also been released on social media.

Hyderabad: SS Rajamouli's much-anticipated lavish period drama RRR has got a release date. The film will be out on October 13 this year.

The official Instagram page of RRR carries the big news with a new poster. This October 13, witness Fire 🔥 and Water 🌊 come together as a FORCE that has never been experienced before ✊🏻 The biggest collaboration in Indian cinema is set to deliver a memorable experience!!! THE RIDE BEGINS...," reads the caption alongside poster.

RRR is set to be based on the lives of two legendary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. It stars Telugu stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR in the lead while Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, international artistes Ray Stevenson and Allison Doody will be seen playing pivotal roles. The multi-lingual movie is said to be made on the rumoured budget of Rs 450 crore.

RRR will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, besides other Indian languages. Now that the release date is locked the fans will be looking forward to the teaser release.
