Mumbai: The release date of 'Jabariya Jodi' has been postponed. The film features Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
The film was slated to release on July 12, but will now hit the screens on August 2. Sidharth Malhotra took to Twitter handle and wrote, "The surprise wedding of the year set to arrive on August 2."

'Jabariya Jodi' is a romantic comedy based upon the tradition of groom kidnapping which is prevalent in Bihar. Sidharth will be seen playing the role of a Bihari thug.
The film is directed by Prashant Singh and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Sobha Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh. The shooting of the film began on August 10, 2018 in Lucknow.
Apart from Sidharth and Parineeti, the film stars Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, Aparshakti Khurrana, Gopal Dutt, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Javed Jaffrey.
The lead actors will be seen together twice after working together for 'Hasee Toh Phasee'.
Sidharth will be seen next in 'Marjaavan' and Parineeti will appear in 'Kesari' alongside Akshay Kumar.
