Mumbai: After their superhit outing Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are all set to reunite for filmmaker Karan Johar's next. While the film is likely to go on floors in April next year, Ranveer, who is known for intense prep will be undergoing a workshop to get into the skin of the character.
On completing a decade in Hindi cinema, Ranveer recently said that with every film he hopes to explore his own being a little bit more and the prep for his film with KJo, the actor will be doing it no different.

According to reports, the Dil Dhadakne Do star has a project in hand which he needs to wrap. Following which, he will take some time off to start a workshop with Johar's team for 25 days. In the meantime, Alia will be wrapping up the shoot of Gangubai Kathiawadi with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

If everything goes as per plan, KJo will be taking the film on floors around April 2021. His last outing as a director was Netflix anthology Ghost Stories.

Ranveer's upcoming projects include Kabir Khan's sports drama 83, where he plays the iconic Kapil Dev, who captained India's first-ever cricket World Cup victory campaign in 1983. He will also reprise his role of Sangram Bhalerao Simmba in Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop action drama, Sooryavanshi, which stars Akshay Kumar as ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi.
Later, he reunites with Shetty to adapt Shakespearean comedy for the Bollywood screen. Titled Cirkus, their new collaboration is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play The Comedy Of Errors, with Ranveer essaying a double role.
