Mumbai: Rangoli Chandel, who is Kangana Ranaut's sister and manager, slammed a journalist who attempted to link the actor's right-leaning views with her career insecurities.

On April 12, Rangoli took to Twitter and said that there are tough times ahead due to COVID-19 blow however Prime Minister Narendra Modi is capable enough of taking things in control.

Rangoli, who is Kangana's spokesperson as well, also recommended that the nation must dismiss 24 general elections as it would be a burden on an already weak economy and let Modi lead the nation for the next team as well.

  • We are going to face huge economy crisis, I am sure Modi ji will revive the economy in a year or two but we must remember we spend lakhs n lakhs of crores on elections we as a nation must dismiss 24 general elections and let Modi ji lead us for next term also 🙏

This tweet of Rangoli apparently did not go down well with a tabloid journalist who according to his understanding attempted to unearth intention behind Kangana's political inclination.

"Kangana is so insecure with her career! Talent hoga tho bhi kaam milega isme sarkar ka koi role nahi hai....," the journo tweeted replying to Rangoli.

Kangana's elder sister, however, is known for taking head-on with people on social media. In her reply, Rangoli said, had her sister been insecure she would not reject films with superstars. Rangoli also said that Kangana is aware of the fact that the majority of film fraternity is left-leaning but that doesn't bother her from lending her support to the ruling party.

On a related note, the Simran star earlier said that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic could be a "potential bio war" unleashed in a scenario where nations are trying to gain economic supremacy over each other.
