Hyderabad: The rumours about actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tying the knot have been doing rounds for a long and now the Barfi star confirms that the speculations have truth to it.
Unlike Alia Bhatt's evasive answers on marriage plans, Ranbir has accepted the fact that the rumours about his destination wedding with Ms. Bhatt were true, and if there had not been a pandemic situation around the world, the two would have been a married couple by now.

RK has poured his heart out on the relationship, losing a parent and feeling of having no release in the past two and a half years in his latest interview.

Alia in a recent interview has said that she is too young to get married to dodge the queries regarding her marriage with RK. But the Sanju star is open about discussing how he wants to "tick mark that goal very soon." In the interview, Kapoor spoke about rumours surrounding his impending wedding and shared, "I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life," said the Tamasha actor. The interview is going viral as it was probably the first time when Ranbir addressed Alia as his 'girlfriend' publically.

RK also confessed that he feels being underachiever next to Alia who he thinks is an overachiever. "You know my girlfriend Alia (Bhatt) is an overachiever. She probably took every online class there is — from guitar to screenwriting. And I always feel like an underachiever next to her."
Ranbir and Alia will be seen sharing screen space for the first time ever in Ayan Mukerji's ambitious film Brahmastra.
