Hyderabad: Telugu star Prabhas, who rose to pan-India fame with Baahubali, is making waves on social media after rumours of him getting onboard for Hollywood biggie Tom Cruise starrer Mission Impossible 7 went viral. The excited fans even reached out to film's director Christopher McQuarrie on social media to find out whether the rumours have any truth to them.
Reports were rife on social media that Christopher apparently narrated the script to Saaho star while he was shooting for Radhe Shyam in Italy. When a fan could not hold excitement, he directly reached MI7 director Christopher on Twitter, the latter indeed responded to the query.
On Wednesday, a user named Lokesh Vallapureddy asked Christopher whether the reports of Prabhas casting for MI7 are true. Lokesh's tweet read, "@chrismcquarrie there is a viral news trending on Indian news channels that an Indian actor named Prabhas has been roped in MI7 for a key role. Can you please confirm whether it is true or not?"

Putting an end to speculation, McQuarrie replied to the aforementioned tweet and wrote, "While he's a very talented man, we've never met. Welcome to the internet."
Meanwhile, Prabhas has his date diary full with multiple projects. The actor will soon be seen in Radhe Shyam alongside Pooja Hegde. He also has Adipurusha, which will have Saif Ali Khan play a negative character. Prabhas has also signed a project, alongside Deepika Padukone, which will be directed by Nag Ashwin. The list of his upcoming films also includes Salaar for which he has united with the makers of KGF.
