Mumbai: The Punjab Police on Thursday booked actor Raveena Tandon, comedian Bharti Singh, director Farah Khan for allegedly commenting on Jesus Christ on a television show.
"We received a complaint against actor Raveena Tandon, comedian Bharti Singh, and director-producer, Farah Khan, claiming they hurt sentiments of the Christian community, during a television show. They have been booked," Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sohan Singh said.

Raveena, Farah and Bharti are believed to have said something questionable during Farah's YouTube comedy show, The Backbenchers that didn’t go down well with certain members of the Christian community.
The trio has been booked under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) which pertains to "malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings by insulting religion or religious beliefs".
Further investigation is underway in this regard.
On the work front, Raveena Tandon is all set to make a comeback to the silver screen with KGF 2 alongside Yash and Sanjay Dutt. Bharti Singh is currently enjoying her stint on The Kapil Sharma Show. Farah Khan, on the other hand, will be seen directing Satte Pe Satta remake, which will be produced by Rohit Shetty.
