Chhori is a remake of Vishal's 2017 hit Marathi film Lapachhapi with a pregnant lady being the central character. Nushrratt, who is playing the leading lady in the film was shooting for an emotionally charged scene. The actor was so absorbed by the sequence that she burst into tears on set.

Talking to a leading webloid about shooting experience, Nushrratt said, "I broke down on the sets yesterday while shooting for an intense scene. When the director said cut, he was surprised to see me crying and came running to check on me. I don't know whether it was the exhaustion of the past many months or simply my emotions (getting the better of me), but I couldn't stop crying."

Besides Chhorii, Nushrratt will also be seen in Hurdang and Omung Kumar's Janhit Mein Jaari.
