Mumbai: After the Boys Locker Room controversy exploded and became one of the top trending topics in the country, a counter tag Girls Locker Room is doing rounds on Internet. Using the tag, trollers took a jibe at Swara Bhasker who expressed shock and concern over the mindset of those teenage boys.
Sharing alleged screengrabs from the girls' chats, trollers asked her to comment on the same.
A twitter user tweeted, "#girlslockerroom and please don't say it's her choice Share two aspects of the story, not one #fakefeminism #swarabhasker If there's toxic masculinity than there also exists toxic femininity. Please address both."
Another user wrote, "Fellow fem-nazis. I support equality. Not agenda," while another tweet read, "These 3rd grade actresses are responsible for such cheap talks #girlslockerroom do coz, these actresses make these discussion so easy publicly."

Expressing their concern over the Boys Locker Room controversy, Swara Bhasker had tweeted, "#boyslockerroom a telling tale of how toxic masculinity starts young! Underage boys gleefully planning how to rape & gangrape minor girls. Parents & teachers must address this with those Kids.. Not enough to ‘hang rapists'.. we must attack the mentality that creates rapists!"

Meanwhile, the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police have detained a 15-year-old student of a prominent school in South Delhi in connection with the Instagram chat group where rapes were glorified and photos of underage girls were being shared and objectified. Twenty two other boys have also have been identified.
