Mumbai: Dharma Productions executive producer Kshitij Raviprasad has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday.
He was taken into custody by the federal probe agency on Friday for through interrogation.
The NCB squad also raided Kshitij's residence in Versova, Andheri in Mumbai.
During the interrogation, Kshitij admitted that he had links with a drug smuggler Ankush Orenja, who used to be a frequent visitor of the executive producer of Dharma Productions.
He used to attend parties at Kshitij's place in Mumbai and Delhi. The NCB has earlier arrested Ankush Orenja in a drug trafficking case.
The Narcotics Control Bureau officials took Kshitij Raviprasad for medical examination as a part of formalities before his arrest.

On Thursday, the investigating agency summoned Kshitij in a case linked with Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
NCB sources confirmed that Kshitij is an important connection with other big peddlers in this case arrested earlier.
Meanwhile, filmmaker and owner of Dharma Production Karan Johar denied the claims that Prasad is associated with the organisation. He said Prasad had joined Dharmatic Entertainment, a sister concern of Dharma productions, in November 2019 as one of the executive producers "on contract basis for a project which did not eventually materialise."
