Hyderabad: Babil Khan's acting debut is one of the most anticipated star kids' entry into filmdom. Revealing his plans, the aspiring actor said that he is aiming to take his father Irrfan Khan's legacy forward and has zero aspirations about becoming a star.

Earlier this month, Babil had revealed that he will 'start looking into offers' for films after May during a social media interaction he had with Irrfan's fans. When a user asked if he plans to get into the field of acting, Babil had said, "I am already in the field of acting when I will appear in a film is the question. Once I have graduated around May, I will start looking into offers."

The youngster who is currently studying film in London, recently attended the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa along with his mother Sutapa as festival paid homage to Irrfan. While speaking to a webloid at the event, an emotional Babil was seen fighting his tears back as he spoke about his late father, his art and his legacy.
When asked when the will audience get to see him on the big screen, Babil said, "The thing is I have to do it the right way and I'm working on it giving my energy towards it. But, the thing is that I have to come in the right way. I don't want to do a big movie where I'm dancing and like it makes 100 cr...there is no artistic value in it."

Revealing more about his Bollywood debut and how he is looking at the career as an actor, Babil further added, "My intention is to take his (Irrfan's) legacy forward and not to become a star." Babil also said that he will take off as an actor but will eventually get into writing and directing films.
