As Saif Ali Khan broke the news of his upcoming autobiography, a section of social media users churned out memes and flooded the microblogging site all through Tuesday.

Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan's decision to release an autobiography is being derided by a major section of the netizens.

Several memes have raked up and netizens have flooded social media with similar posts.

While a user wrote: "Don't bother thinking of buying his stupid autobiography. We have to boycott this book, or else he might venture into writing Indian history books."

Another posted: "Saif Ali Khan to release his autobiography in 2021. #Bollywood and authors to #SaifAliKhan: Bhaisahab, yeh kis line mein aa gaye aap?"

A third user also wrote: "His autobiography will be a motivational stuff for all humans. after giving tons of disasters he never thought of quitting acting. He came back strongly and started to give more gigantic diasasters #SaifAliKhan."

Earlier today, while making the announcement of Saif's autobiography, the publisher stated that the memoir will be a "no-holds-barred account with Saif, in his signature style laced with wit and humour," opening up about family, home, successes, failures, his influences, inspirations and cinema.

The actor, who has spent more than two decades in the industry, has featured in critically-acclaimed films as well as in commercial blockbusters.

From playing the charming and urbane man in Dil Chahta Hai and Kal Ho Naa Ho, the quirky Parsi apprentice in Being Cyrus, a local gangster in Omkara, to a troubled police officer in Netflix series Sacred Games, Saif has various memorable parts to his credit.
