Malaika, Dia overwhelmed upon receiving Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards

Days after receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards, actors Dia Mirza and Malaika Arora took to social media to express gratitude.

Mumbai: Actors Malaika Arora and Dia Mirza on Saturday shared thank you note after being honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards.

While Malaika received the Fit Icon of the Year award, Dia was conferred with the Best Actress award in the prestigious event held in Mumbai.

The 46-year-old actor hopped on to Instagram to post a picture in which she was seen holding the iconic award. Donning a beautiful red designer saree along with black crop top, she was seen flaunting heavy neckpieces.

Privileged to receive the honour alongside the industry stalwarts, Malaika mentioned that it encouraged her to strive harder in whatever she does.

Dia Mirza was also conferred with the Best Actress Award at the star-studded ceremony for the web series titled Kaafir.

Sporting a white embroidered Anarkali, Dia looked graceful as ever.

The 2020 Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards were announced in Mumbai on Thursday.

Besides Dia and Malaika, Hrithik Roshan was also feted with the Best Actor award for his film Super 30 and the movie was selected as the Best Film.
