Hyderabad: Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is all set to join the list of silver screen stars who have ventured into web space. The actor is reportedly being roped in by ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming web show Heera Mandi.

If reports are to be believed, Kartik is in talks to feature in SLB's mega-budget series which was earlier planned as a feature film with Priyanka Chopra in the lead. Bhansali's pet project is will now feature Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles while buzz about Vidya Balan's casting in the web show is also being heard in the industry circles.

As reported earlier, Bhansali has collaborated with streaming giant Netflix for Heera Mandi and will take the show on floors in the first quarter of 2021. While casting for leading ladies is apparently in place, Kartik recently met SLB at his office to discuss the part. The show will be mounted on a big scale with filmmaker Vibhu Puri calling the shots.

Meanwhile, Kartik will next be seen in the horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 where he features alongside Kiara Advani. Apart from this, the actor will also be seen in an intense avatar in the upcoming film Dhamaka. He plays a journalist who covers the live broadcast of a terror attack in Mumbai. The film is directed by Ram Madhvani, who called the shots on the film Neerja as well as the web series Aarya.
