Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali: Kriti to pair opposite Salman

Salman Khan's next film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will star Kriti Sanon as the lead female actor.

Mumbai: Salman Khan recently announced the release of his next film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with Farhad Samji and Sajid Nadiawala. According to sources, the film will feature Kriti Sanon alongside him.

While we don’t know much about the film’s plot or storyline, this factor alone would create enough hype to attract the audience to the theatres. We still have a long way to go since the film is releasing during Eid 2021, so we expect to learn more about this with time," said a source.

Salman announced the news of his next film on Twitter. "Announcing my next film... KABHI EID KABHI DIWALI...STORY & PRODUCED BY SAJID NADIADWALA ...DIRECTED by FARHAD SAMJI...EID 2021 ... #SajidNadiadwala @NGEMovies @farhad_samji @WardaNadiadwala @SKFilmsOfficial," he wrote.

Salman Khan was last seen in the third instalment of the Dabangg series, titled Dabangg 3. The film which had Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan reprising their roles from the previous film, also had Sudeep essaying the role of the antagonist. The film also saw Sanjay Manjrekar's daughter Saiee making her Bollywood debut.

Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, was last seen in the multi starrer Housefull 4. The film also starred Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda.
