Mumbai: Bollywood actor John Abraham has unveiled the teaser of his upcoming film 'Batla House' on Saturday. The actor will be seen essaying the role of a tough cop in the film.
The 46-year-old actor took to his social media to reveal the news about his forthcoming film. Sharing a short video, he wrote on Instagram: "The sound of the gunshots that were fired still echoes eleven years later. Witness the real story."
The teaser of the film is sure to give you goosebumps. The teaser video opened with a caption "Property of Police Not For Distribution," engrossing audience all at once.
The visuals of successive firing sequences and the sound of gunshots will make your heart beat fast.
Giving a sneak peek, the actor has also shared a poster of the film on Instagram. He wrote: "Aur iss encounter se shuru hua #BatlaHouse investigation. Watch the truth unfold."
The trailer of the film will be released on July 10, 2019.
Inspired by Operation Batla House that took place almost a decade ago, the thriller drama will feature John as Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who spearheaded the encounter.
Jointly produced by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and John Abraham Entertainment, the film is helmed by Nikhil Advani.
'Batla House' is set to hit the big screen on August 15, 2019.
