Mumbai: Jaya Bachchan turned 72 on Thursday, her children Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda penned emotional notes for her, sharing their love for the anchor in their lives. Jr Bachchan also hinted that the actor is not with the family at the moment.
Abhishek took to Instagram to share a beautiful image of her mother which he captioned with equally beautiful and touchy words. "As every child will tell you, their favourite word is... MA! Happy Birthday, Ma. Although you are away in Delhi due to the lockdown and we all are here in Mumbai, know that we are thinking of you and carry you in our hearts. I love you!" wrote the Manmarziyaan star who is clearly missing his mother on the special day.

As Abhishek's post suggests, Jaya could not celebrate it with her family as she is stuck in New Delhi due to the nationwide lockdown.
