Hyderabad: Veteran actor and politician Jaya Bachchan, who celebrates her 73rd birthday today has taken over the internet for the wrong reason. The actor is at the receiving end for pushing a man during a roadshow in Howrah, West Bengal.
Bachchan, who is on a four-day election campaign in West Bengal, is conducting rallies and roadshows to garner support for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the crucial election. On Thursday, Jaya conducted a roadshow during which she spoke to the gathering about Trinamool Congress and Banerjee's achievements.

A video from Jaya's roadshow has gone viral wherein she is seen pushing a man who tried to take a selfie with her as she was sitting in her carriage and waving to the crowd. The actor is known for detesting paparazzi culture and obliging fans with pictures. As soon as the video landed on social media, the netizens started trolling Jaya for her 'rude' and 'insulting' act. A score of Twitter users also opined that there would have been a huge uproar if a male politician had done this to a woman in the rally.
