Ghost trailer: Vikram Bhatt back with spine-chilling ghost-story

The trailer of Vikram Bhatt's upcoming horror film Ghost is out today. The film starring popular TV actor Sanaya Irani and Shivam Bhaargava is releasing on October 18, 2019.

Mumbai: After the nerve-wracking posters, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt dropped the spine-chilling trailer of the horror flick on Monday.

Taking his Twitter, Vikram shared the trailer with the caption, "Absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence! The trailer of my film Ghost is here."

The trailer opens with the unnatural death of a lady killed by a ghost. However, her husband is accused of murdering her and hence he has to fight a legal battle to prove his innocence.

While most people don't believe the man played by Shivam Bhaargava, Sanaya Irani who plays a lawyer in the film strives hard to get him out of the trouble.

The trailer further unfolds the rescue operation towards the elimination of the evil spirits trapped in the house of the accused.

The video has some horrifying visuals of creepy ghosts which will send chills down fans' spine while promising a scary ride.

Earlier on Sunday, Bhatt shared a short teaser of the film while making the trailer announcement on his Instagram.

While the teaser had already raise fans eagerness to watch more of the spooky tale, the recently launched trailer has pinned fans hope on the upcoming film.

Vikram Bhatt is well-known for horror films like Raaz, Raaz 3D, 1920 and Haunted - 3D. The filmmaker is back with yet another spooky drama after his last release 1921 which unfortunately failed at the box office.

While Bhatt has also written the film, it is produced by Vashu Bhagnani along with the filmmaker.

The horror-film will hit the big screens on October 18.
