Mumbai: Salman Khan announces new release date for Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi' which was earlier scheduled for Eid 2020 release. Akshay's film was to clash with Salman and Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Inshallah'.
Salman took to twitter to announce the revised date for 'Sooryavanshi'.
"I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it... #RohitShetty. Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020", reads the caption alongside a picture which features Salman and Rohit all smiles.

Earlier this month, the makers of 'Inshallah' announced that the film which reunites Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after a long gap will hit the big screens on Eid, 2020, the date which was already booked by 'Sooryavanshi' team.
However, the clash of titans is averted as Rohit opted another release date for his cop drama which also stars Katrina Kaif in lead role.
Coming back to 'Inshallah', the Bhansali directorial, an epic romance drama, is a co-production between Salman Khan Films and Bhansali Productions Private Limited.
While Akshay will be playing the lead role of Veer Suryavanshi, a character that was introduced as an Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) officer in a cameo role by in 'Simmba'.
