Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush are reportedly being roped in for the sequel of filmmaker Aanand L. Rai's next which is likely to be the sequel of his 2013 release, Raanjhanaa.

Raanjhanaa sequel

Mumbai: Sara Ali Khan is on a film signing spree after her debut with Kedarnath in 2018. If reports are to be believed, the Pataudi princess will be pairing up with South heartthrob Dhanush in Zero helmer's next.

Dhanush shares a close bond with Aanand, the director of his Bollywood debut venture. There was a buzz from the longest time about the two reuniting for a film which now seems to be coming true.

The current word on the street is that the Tanu Weds Manu maker has plans to instrument vivaciousness of Sara and the craze of South superstar for a film which he wanted to make since long.

Since Dhanush and Sara are preoccupied with their commitments, the team aims to begin shooting for Raanjhanaa sequel in later this year or early next year.

Though the film will not be an official sequel to the Raanjhanaa, the makers will retain the elements of the original film in part two.
