Hyderabad: Filmmaker Shakun Batra's upcoming and untitled film casts the superstar Deepika Padukone with gen-now actors Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa. Details of the film are yet to be revealed but an interesting aspect of Deepika's role in the film has managed to reach webloids.

According to a webloid report, Deepika plays the role of a fitness instructor in the film which is billed as domestic noir. The buzz around Deepika's role also suggested that it's inspired by a celebrity fitness instructor but the team associated with the film has denied the rumours.

Shakun Batra's next is among the upcoming films which boast a mix of seasoned stars teaming up with a new breed of actors for impact. Earlier, when Ananya was asked if it's intimidating to work with Deepika, the actor said: "Not at all. She (Deepika) is the biggest sweetheart. As beautiful as she is on the outside, she is as beautiful on the inside. She is one of the nicest and warmest people ever. She is literally like my sister. We have a really good relationship."

Heaping praise on Deepika, Ananya has said that the Piku star has done a really good job in making her co-stars feel comfortable on set. "There are no intimidating vibes. We did workshops together, too. She is a very caring person," she had added.
Earlier, Deepika during an interview had said that Shakun's film is a domestic noir, a genre with which the Indian audience is not well acquainted with.
