Varanasi: Singer Sonu Nigam who is on a tour to visit religious temples of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday morning reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham where he prayed in Lord Shiva's temple.
He also attended the morning Mangala Aarti and paid obeisance religiously.
Srikant Acharya, the head of the temple honoured Sonu by offering him angavastra on behalf of the temple.
Sonu who has been touring the famous temples of Uttar Pradesh since Sunday visited Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya.
He then met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Monday where he expressed a wish to donate a brick in the Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya.
On Tuesday, Sonu reached Varanasi where he was seen attending the daily Ganga Aarti to be held at the Ganga Ghat in the evening.

While returning from Kashi Vishwanath Dham he obliged fans and took selfies with them.
