After dropping the first version of film, the producers, who wanted a different output, have roped up an entire new team for the re-shoot. The film which was earlier called 'Varmaa' is now retitled as 'Adithya Varma.'
Post signing Banita Sandhu as the leading lady, Priya Anand joined the cast and might play the role of Jia Sharma in the film.
Dhruv Vikram, who is making his debut with 'Varmaa', will be a part of the new version, while official announcements regarding the other cast and crew including director will be made shortly.
Gireesaaya, who assisted Sandeep Reddy Vanga for 'Arjun Reddy', will make his directorial debut and replace the award-winning director Bala.
After completion of the shoot, the teaser and trailer of 'Varmaa' were dropped on the internet which received disappointing reactions by the audience. The producers wanted to reshoot the remake of this cult film.
Produced by E4 Entertainment, the film is scheduled to hit the screens in June 2019.
