Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi in Bhopal for The Last Show shoot

Veteran actor Anupam Kher was seen shooting for Vivek Agnihotri's upcoming film The Last Show in Bhopal. Also seen on the location was Kher's co-star from the film Pallavi Joshi.

Bhopal: Actors Anupam Kher and Pallavi Joshi were spotted in the city as they were shooting for filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's forthcoming film The Last Show.

Last month, Kher and filmmakers Vivek, Satish Kaushik, and Rumi Jafry announced that they have joined hands for producing The Last Show which will star Kher and Kaushik in central roles. After the lockdown eased out, the team has now kickstarted principle shooting in Madhya Pradesh.

The team is reportedly in the state from past fortnight and have been shooting in the various parts of Bhopal canning major scenes featuring Kher, Satish Kaushik and Pallavi. In the video here, Anupam, Pallavi and Satish are seen filming a scene at a shop in city's Lakherapura Bazaar area.

Agnihotri will showcase dying arts of India, like folk theatre and qawwali in his upcoming film, The Last Show

While shooting in Bhopal, the makers have roped in many local talents who will be seen sharing screen space with noted actors in the film. The team has also shot a qawwali which is performed by local artists from the state.

Earlier Vivek has said, "The Last Show is a tribute to dying arts of India, like folk theatre and qawwali. I have worked hard to find these old artistes who are lost in oblivion and nobody cares about them."

The Last Show is a story about "friendship, human spirit, love, laughter and tears."
