Mumbai: Bollywood Actor and producer Sonu Sood has again turned into a good samaritan for a helpless Uttar Pradesh native who lost his wife and needs to go to his home town, Varanasi, for her last rites.

In yet another kind gesture, Sood promised to send Sitaram Vishwnath Shukla, 40, to his hometown soon when a fan urged for help on social media.

A fan tweeted to the actor, “Dear Sir @SonuSood @shubhamVawasthi My Neighbour Mr Sitaram Lost his wife at Native place Varanasi Trying to go to Varanasi For Spiritual Work They are total 3 member please help @SonuSood sir we don’t have any other option then you.”

The Dabangg actor replied to the request and wrote, “I am sorry for the loss. will send him tomorrow. He will reach his home soon. God bless.”

Sood's relentless efforts to unite migrant workers with their families and make them reach their homes safely amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis and nationwide lockdown have garnered praise from every possible quarters in the past few weeks.
