Mumbai: The trailer of Angrezi Medium promises a relatable father-daughter story set in the the backdrop of Rajasthan. The film which is sequel to the widely appreciated 2017 entertainer Hindi Medium, has its heart at the right place, if the trailer is anything to go by.
In a nearly three minute long video, besides story, what is more enticing is undoubtedly the presence of Irrfan. The actor, who is known for getting into the skin of the characters he plays on-screen is no different as Champak Bansal in Angrezi Medium.
As the trailer suggests, Angrezi Medium is a heartwarming and hilarious story of the unconditional love between a father and his daughter. A tale of unbreakable friendships and small-town obsessions with the ‘foreign’ dream.
Angrezi Medium will strike chord with single fathers even more as Irrfan will be seen taking care of his daughter Tarika Bansal, played by Radika Madan in the film.

Directed by Homi Adajania, the film besides Irrfan and Radhika, boasts of a stellar ensemble cast compromising Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Tripathi, Deepak Dobriyal, Ranvir Shorey and others.

Angrezi Medium arrives in theaters on March 20. The film will bring Irrfan back on the big screen. He had been lying low for around a year after being diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour.
For unversed, a day prior to trailer release, Irrfan had shared an emotional message with fans and the media, expressing his inability to promote his upcoming film due to health issues.
